The mission of the IDA Young Professionals Network (YPN) is to help young professionals build a community of peers within IDA and to promote and support young professionals in their careers through mentoring, leadership development, and networking opportunities.
While most members of the YPN are under 40, there is no age restriction to participate. Any active IDA member who thinks he or she would benefit from membership is welcome to join.
YPN membership is free for current IDA members.
The YPN is led by the YPN Advisory Council.
The YPN currently has 5 active Committees that are responsible for the development of YPN programs:
- Communications Committee
- Fundraising Committee
- IDAExpo Committee
- Membership and Recruitment Committee
- Program Committee
